Podaa Podi shoot completed

The shoot of Simbu's Podaa Podi is complete and it is expected to grace theatres this year. Dancing diva Shobana will make a comeback in Kollywood through Simbu’s Podaa Podi. It is reported that the yesteryear actress will play a prominent role, that of Vijayalaxmi Sarathkumar’s dance mentor. Well-known artist Ute Bergk (assistant art director of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and V for Vendetta) was recently roped in as the art director for Podaa Podi, produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar; as the title suggests, the film is an energetic rom-com.
Music for the film is composed by Dharan, while cinematography and editing are handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony Gonsalves respectively.
