Coming soon: Azhagi 2

According to sources, actor-director Parthiban is planning to make a sequel to his hit film Azhagi, directed by Thangar Bachan. The sequel will begin from where the first part ended. There are also reports that the sequel has been titled Shanmugathin Dhanalakshmi. The sequel will narrate the story of Shanmugam, who will go in search of his first love Dhanalakshmi. Nandita Das, who starred in Azhagi, is likely to be the heroine in this part too.
