Looks like the decision to support the AIADMK-led alliance has not gone down well with a section of Vijay fans. Close on the heels of some members of Vijay Fans Club coming out in open protesting the move, a key office bearer has now been sacked from the organisation.C Jayaseelan, the State president of the Vijay Fans Club, and another office bearer were expelled for ‘anti-club activities’, according to a press release issued by S A Chandrasekar.
SAC, who is the founder and general secretary of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, said in the release that a unanimous decision was taken to support the AIADMK-led front in the Assembly elections. But these two indulged in activities against the official decision.
Meanwhile, sources have it that both would soon enroll themselves in the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. Chandrasekar, soon after meeting Jayalalitha in Trichy more than a week ago, said that Vijay’s Makkal Iyakkam will support AIADMK and make sure it comes back to power to set things right in the State.
