The lady with a very heavenly, gifted carnatic voice will be composing music for director Vasanth. She had earlier lent her voice for a song in Vasanth’s ‘Satham Podathey’ which had Prithviraj and Padmapriya playing the lead. Sudha Ragunatahan is a regular performing at all important events for All India Radio and Doordarshan.The film that Sudha will be working on with director Vasanth as ‘Nadai Udai Bhavanai’. This will be the singer’s first tryst as music director in a film. Sudha who mesmerizes the audience with her ethereal voice is more popular in the carnatic circles and she has a number of Kacheris performed within the city as well as abroad to her credit. She has been conferred various prestigious awards in India as well as abroad.
Sudha had earlier sung for an Indian English film titled ‘Morning Raaga’. She sang for Shabana Azmi. She has received prestigious Padma Shri Award as well as the Kalai Mamani from the Tamil Nadu Government for her achievements in the field of music.
