Happy Birthday Vishal!

Vishal Krishna celebrates his birthday today. Born on August 29th, 1977 to noted producer G.K. Reddy, he is known for his height and physique, which he’s complemented with his six pack.
Always interested in production, he majored in Visual Communications from Loyola College, Chennai and landed an apprenticeship with the great Ram Gopal Varma. But Dame Destiny stepped in and he found himself in Arjun’s production house, learning the ropes to make a great entertainer.
Working as Arjun’s assistant in Vedham and Ezhumalai, he learnt a lot about directing and also picked up the nuances of performing in front of the camera. Destiny led him to accept the lead role in Chellame and the rest, as they say, is history. Vishal is so thorough that he went back to the grassroots level and learnt acting from a Koothupatrai troupe. Not for him the fancy and flashy finishing schools that many Kollywood kids go to with nothing to show for it at the end of it all.
His three Tamil movies (Chellame, Sandakozhi and Thimiru) were back-to-back hits, quite a feat for a newcomer. All three were dubbed into Telugu (Prema Chadarangam, Pandem Kodi and Pogaru respectively) and were very successful. Salute (Telugu), produced simultaneously as Satyam (Tamil) has created a record of sorts, both for production values as well as his performance standards.
And then came Bala's Avan Ivan in which he played the role of a person with a squint. He is currently busy with Prabhu Deva's Vedi opposite Sameera Reddy.
